　　In fact, the customer’s initial design is to produce this part by investment casting and cnc machining. After studying of the drawings and considering the rate of qualified products, we discuss with the customer and change the design and process. Now, on our production the process is casting, forging, welding, cnc machining.

　　Because if just by casting, the inside need to be solid which makes the weight very heavy, and need more cost of casting blank. In order to save cost for customer, we find a solution for this product. We make the fitting side by casting and the inside to be hollow, make the head by forging, then welding them together, at last we will cnc machining the important dimensions. In this case, the weight is lower than just by casting process, and the scrap rate is very low. The unit price is 30% lower than before.
